By: Joanna Medina
June 1st, 2017

Were you or someone you know affected by this weekend's British Airways IT mishap? Thousands of passengers were affected and under EU regulations are entitled to cash compensation for experiencing delays and/or cancellations. BA has committed to covering the cost of flights and to payout the necessary compensation. The process of claiming compensation can be arduous and prolonged, and with the thousands of affected passengers all seeking compensation for the same flights, it may be difficult to hear back from representatives on a personal level; so if you would like a team of professionals to handle your claim, Flightbucks has you covered. Claim compensation amounts for flights disrupted in Heathrow and Gatwick will vary depending on the length of the flight; distance is the determining factor. A flight from Gatwick to Barcelona is about 1,500km and would pay in the range of €250 per person, whereas a 3,500 km flight would pay out about €600. It's worth contacting us to see if we can handle the claim process on your behalf. After all of the chaos a little peace and payment via Flightbucks is your best bet, travelers!
